2. Attend a Maryknoll, Pac-5, UH, etc. sporting event as a spectator. If you attend a sporting event, please submit proof of your attendance (picture, ticket stub, flyer, etc.) and type a 1/2-1 page double spaced 12 point font reflection, which includes what, where, and when was the event as well as details about what happened in the game, details of what you observed from the game or spectators, outstanding or unique plays or players from either team, things you learned about the sport by watching and/or traditions of the sport you observed. You can submit this as a hard copy or via e-mail.
3. Participate or volunteer at a local community fitness or health event. Sign up to volunteer or participate at a local fitness or health event like the Honolulu Marathon, Keiki Great Aloha Run, Honolulu 5K, Jamba Juice 5K, the Haleiwa Metric Century Bike Ride, etc. Submit proof of your participation or volunteering (photo, race number, race time printout, etc.) and type a 1/2-1 page double spaced 12 point font reflection on what you learned from your experiences. This can be a description of what you saw, what you learned about training, what you learned about hydration or nutritional needs during a fitness event, or skills you developed as a result of participating. This can be sent as an e-mail to me or as a hard copy.
